Addressing the need for a power supply solution that can be applied in markets in multiple countries, the GT-43007 ITE-rated wall plug-in power supply from GlobTek is available with a set of interchangeable plugs to accommodate standard wall sockets in multiple markets. The Class-II devices have a universal input and deliver an output of 12Vdc at 3A. Features of the power supply include a line regulation of ±1% and an output load regulation of ±5%, with an output ripple of ±1% and a hold-up time of 10 mS at nominal input and full load.

“If you use a power supply with interchangeable blades, you only need to create one hardware configuration to address multiple markets” according to Ed Seaman, VP of Sales for GlobTek. “Otherwise every separate market would not only require local-language labeling and paperwork, but also separate power supplies, as plug compatibility is vital to making sure the product works. This and most of our other power supplies can bypass that issue because they offer user-changeable plugs for the different wall-socket types.”

Additional features of the RoHS-compatible 47.8 x 75.5 x 28.2-mm power supply include over-voltage and short-circuit protection as well as a dielectric withstand voltage of 4,242Vdc. The power supply also carries approvals including UL60950-1, CUL TO 22.2 #60950-1, DEMKO to EN60950-1, CCC (pending) to GB4943-2001, GB9254-1998, GB17625.12003, GOST-R, CE CLASS II, AS/NZ TO 60950 (pending), C-TICK to 55022 (pending), PSE to J60950, and it complies with EN55022 CLASS B AND FCC PART 15 CLASS B, VCCI when tested with resistive load, both conducted and radiated EMI.
